EMPLOYMENT EXCHANGES (COMPULSORY NOTIFICATION OF VACANCIES) RULES 1960.

Salient Features of the Act

Every establishment in Public Sector and non-agricultural establishment in the Private sector employing 25 or more persons shall:

1. Notify the vacancies in writing in appropriate Employment Exchange in prescribed format as given in this Rule;
2. Furnish information relating to vacancies occurred or about to occur in the prescribed Form-ER-1, quarterly and occupational profile of the employees in the prescribed Form-ER-II ,biennially, in local Employment Exchange
